General Terms and Conditions of Use for Customers

Last updated: October 01, 2026 · Compliant with European consumer and digital services regulations

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter, the "Terms of Use") govern the download, access, browsing, and use of the mobile application (iOS and Android) and web services of Tredi (hereinafter, the "Platform" or the "App"), owned by Perk Drop SL (Tax ID B05620273, registered at Provença, 62, 08029 Barcelona, Spain).

By creating an account, claiming a promotion, or interacting with the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be fully bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Account Registration, Minimum Age, and Tredi Pass

  • Minimum Age: To register autonomously, users must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Personal and Non-Transferable: Each user account is tied to a real individual. Creating multiple accounts per person, using false identities, or sharing login credentials is strictly prohibited.
  • Tredi Pass Membership and Right of Withdrawal: Tredi offers a premium customer subscription model named "Tredi Pass" providing early access to Drop, an increased simultaneous Tred wallet capacity, and unlimited reservation releases. In accordance with Spanish and EU consumer law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), users have the right to withdraw from the subscription within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase without stating any reason or incurring penalties, by managing it in the app or writing to soporte@tredi.app. If during this cooling-off period the user has utilized Treds or subscription perks, an amount proportional to the period enjoyed will be settled.

2. Canonical Terminology and 'Treds' Mechanics

Tredi operates around specific business definitions and core rules:

  • Tred (Voucher / Reservation):An individual unit of promotional discount or benefit issued by an affiliated merchant. Each active Tred features a global alphanumeric identifier (display_id formatted as 'R########') and a 4-digit numeric validation PIN.
  • Drop (Daily Timed Window):A daily promotion release event unlocked from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM according to user gamification status (3:00 PM Legend/Pass, 4:00 PM Host, 5:00 PM Insider, 6:00 PM Explorer).
  • Golden Rule: 1 Brand / Store = 1 Active Tred in Wallet:Users cannot hold more than 1 active Tred from the same brand or establishment in their digital wallet at any one time. To claim a new Tred from that merchant, the active voucher must first be redeemed or allowed to release/expire.
  • Cart Reservation Lock (10 min TTL):Upon adding a Tred to the cart or reservation flow, the system applies a 10-minute concurrent lock to guarantee stock availability. If not confirmed within this period, the lock automatically expires and the Tred returns to public inventory.

3. In-Store Redemption Procedure and Mandatory Rules

For a Tred discount or benefit to be applied, the user must strictly adhere to the in-person validation protocol:

A. Physical Presence and Validity Window

Redemption must occur exclusively in person at the physical premises of the affiliated business during the valid hours listed on the product card and prior to the expiration date shown on the Tred.

B. Canonical Validation Methods

Users can validate their Tred via two routes: (1) Scanning the merchant branch's official physical QR code displayed on-site using the Tredi app, triggering deterministic GPS geofence verification; or (2) Providing the 4-digit numeric PIN and R######## identifier to the cashier for manual check-in on the B2O merchant terminal.

C. Single-Use Policy

Each Tred is strictly for one-time use. Once checked in at the register or scanned via QR, its status irreversibly changes to 'redeemed' and it cannot be reused.

4. Nature of Service and Limitation of Liability

Tredi operates strictly as a digital discovery and intermediary platform. Consequently:

  • Direct Contract Between Customer and Establishment:The contract of sale, food preparation, dining service, and issuance of receipts or invoices occur exclusively and directly between the customer and the independent business.
  • Exemption Regarding Quality, Allergens, and Food Safety:Tredi does not produce food or provide restaurant services. The merchant bears sole civil, sanitary, and administrative responsibility for food safety, allergen information (EU Regulation 1169/2011), and product quality.
  • On-Site Incidents and Unjustified Refusals:If an affiliated merchant unjustifiably refuses to honor a valid active Tred, the user should immediately report it via App support. Tredi will investigate and may penalize or suspend the merchant from the platform.

5. Prohibited Conduct, Anti-Fraud, and Penalties

To protect the user community and local merchants, Tredi strictly prohibits and prosecutes the following violations:

  • Geolocation Fraud: Using GPS spoofers, mock locations, or manipulated VPNs to fake physical presence at the establishment.
  • Account Hoarding and Multi-Accounting: Creating multiple accounts per individual to bypass the 1 Tred per brand rule or Drop reservation caps.
  • Resale or Commercial Speculation: Selling, auctioning, transferring, or trading Treds for monetary compensation outside the authorized social gifting feature.
  • Reverse Engineering and Scraping: Employing bots, web scrapers, or automated tools to extract promotions, intercept Supabase API requests, or overload platform infrastructure.

Committing any of these actions empowers Perk Drop SL to immediately suspend or permanently terminate the offender's account, resulting in the immediate forfeiture of all active Treds and accumulated XP points, without prejudice to legal remedies.

6. Applicable Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and applicable European Union law. In the event of any dispute not resolved through our direct support (soporte@tredi.app), consumers may access certified Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entities pursuant to Directive 2013/11/EU and Spanish Law 7/2017, in particular the Consumer Arbitration Board corresponding to their domicile. Any judicial proceedings shall be submitted to the competent courts of the consumer's jurisdiction.
